Confidence in the original. Value you can trust.
Some things matter not just for how they look, but for what they really are. For certain products, the difference between an original and a copy may be almost insignificant. If customers know they are buying a product merely inspired by an original, understand this and freely choose it, the situation is clear.
Yet there are products, brands, technologies and works of art whose originality is part of their very value. That is where the real problem of counterfeits begins. When customers believe they are buying an original and the seller presents it as such, but it is actually a copy, this is more than a difference in quality.
It is an abuse of trust.
